Cover Only vs Diploma Program
The Diploma Program allows your student to earn credits that are officially recorded on a Wet Mountain School transcript and count toward a Wet Mountain School diploma.
If you choose the Cover-Only enrollment option, it provides legal enrollment and basic record-keeping but requires you to create your child’s transcript and issue a homeschool diploma yourself.
When registering or renewing enrollment for high school students (grades 9-12), you’ll need to specify whether you plan to submit high school credits. For more information, see the High School Enrollment Options section.
No, it’s not required to use Wet Mountain School’s official diploma or transcript services. If you prefer, you may issue your own homeschool transcript and diploma. To do this, enroll your student under the Cover Only option. With this enrollment type, you’ll report either a semester summary or unofficial grades—without assigning credits.
This documentation ensures you remain in good standing with Wet Mountain School by confirming that your child has received a “basic academic education,” as required by law.
Please note: unofficial high school grades and summaries submitted under the Cover Only option do not count toward an official Wet Mountain School transcript or diploma. If you choose to graduate your student independently, you’ll need to create your own transcript and issue your own diploma.
