Early High School Credits

Students who complete high school-level courses before 9th grade may have the option to report those credits early, provided they are enrolled in courses explicitly designated as high school-level during 8th grade.

• Only courses officially classified as high school-level may be reported for credit.
  
  

• Typical middle school courses, such as pre-algebra, are not eligible for high school credit when taken in 8th grade.
  
  

• Non-credit 8th-grade courses will be reflected in your student’s grades but will not appear on their official high school transcript.
  
  

Important: Enrollment in the Diploma Program is required to submit early high school credits.
