Umbrella Schools Are Private Schools

Umbrella schools operate under private school laws. While you are essentially homeschooling your children, Wet Mountain School (WMS) is legally recognized as a private school under Colorado law. Once enrolled, your children are officially classified as private school students and must comply with the requirements set forth by private school regulations.
